MANCHESTER House is one of only three restaurants nationwide to have been awarded the prestigious four AA rosettes, it has been revealed today.
The award marks a busy year for Byrne and restaurant operator Living Ventures
Joining the Michelin-starred Black Swan pub in North Yorkshire and the critically-acclaimed Five Fields in Chelsea this year, Aiden Byrne’s Manchester House – opened in Spinningfields’ Tower 12 in September 2013 - will join distinguished company amongst the North West’s four rosette clique, including: The French by Simon Rogan at the Midland, Northcote by Nigel Haworth and Simon Radley at The Chester Grosvenor.
“We are so happy to be awarded our four rosettes here at Manchester House,” says Byrne. “I’m incredibly proud of my team and hopefully this is the start of a very successful year.”
AA’s Head of hotels, Simon Numphud, said: “The four rosettes restaurants can now classify themselves as among the top restaurants in the country where cooking demands national recognition.”

The award marks a busy year for Byrne and restaurant operator Living Ventures, with plans to open two new restaurants alongside a training academy within Liverpool’s Grade II listed Cunard Building. The project is expected to cost in the region of £6m.
Elsewhere, the AA revealed eleven new three rosette restaurants, including The Hare Inn in Scawton, Yorkshire, and the Lake Road Kitchen in Ambleside, Cumbria.
Announced twice a year, the AA reveals the winners of its three, four and five rosettes in January and September.
