SELFRIDGES are bracing label conscious males for more big brands and more exclusive names, as they invest £3 million to regenerate the menswear department at its Exchange Square store.
We have long been at the top of the game when it comes to menswear and have experienced significant growth with our designer offering up 11% versus last year.
The improved menswear floor will include an increased shoe department by almost 50% and more high end and exclusive labels, including Givenchy, Giuseppe Zanotti, DSquared, Creative Recreation, Tom Ford and Bottega Veneta.
More designer brands in bigger shoe department
Also new to the menswear department for autumn/winter are boutiques from globally renowned fashion houses Givenchy, Christian Dior and Hermes. New additions in designer wear include Valentino and Margiela.
General Manager Jane Sharrocks said: "We have long been at the top of the game when it comes to menswear and have experienced significant growth with our designer offering up 11% versus last year. This investment merely highlights our long-term commitment.
"Ultimately the men of Manchester are extremely stylish. They deserve the best the fashion world can offer and our job is to deliver it."
The Denim Department has also seen significant investment and is now amongst the largest in the country at 179 square feet. It features exclusive ranges from top designers such as J Brand and BLK DNM and bespoke fitting services including alterations.
