Manchester launch of Assouline’s new coveted style bible and limited-edition afternoon teas
On Wednesday 11th March, The Library curated by Assouline is hosting an exclusive and intimate evening to celebrate the Manchester launch of Assouline’s latest highly-covetable Ultimate Collection book: Chanel: The Ultimate Collection.
Assouline, purveyors of luxury handcrafted books, will be welcoming one of the foremost fashion journalists, Alexander Fury, the author of Chanel: The Ultimate Collection and British Vogue’s Style Editor, Gianluca Longo.
The two fashion experts will hold an in-depth conversation which delves into the world of Chanel, from its inception as one of the twentieth century’s most illustrious fashion houses to the work of successor Karl Lagerfeld’s unexpected and irreverent variations.
Guests will be welcomed with a first taste of the limited-edition, Chanel-inspired cocktail, The Little Black Dress with its exquisite blend of jasmine tea-infused Roku gin, Muyu Vetiver Gris, yuzu, Italicus & Licquorice, jasmine syrup, charcoal and Möet et Chandon Brut before sitting down to listen to the two legends of style in conversation.
Following the talk, canapés will be served and guests can browse The Library’s Assouline collection.
Guests will have the chance to purchase the book and have it signed by author, Alexander Fury.
To celebrate the Manchester launch of Chanel: The Ultimate Collection, the Library curated by Assouline has also launched a range of limited-edition afternoon tea packages. Chanel: The Impossible Edition Afternoon Tea will be available for all to enjoy for a limited time from Thursday 12th March until Sunday 12th April.
