SOCCEREX's Football Festival hits Old Granada Studios this weekend.
The free to attend two day footballing event will feature a legends triple threat tournament (starring former United forward Louis Saha and Lazio and Middlesborough midfielder Gaizka Mendieta), freestyle tournaments and the new worldwide craze Zorb Football - footie while encased in a giant inflated bubble. Why? Why not?
Part of the wider Global Soccerex Convention - the world's largest football business gathering taking to Manchester Central from Monday 7 to Wednesday 9 September - the ten year old footie festival has previously been held on Rio's Copacabana Beach and Johannesburg's Nelson Mandela Square and seen legends such as Eric Cantona, Edgar Davids and Jay-Jay Okocha perform.
