Olivier-nominated play, Jay Rayner and festive musical lined up
HOME has unveiled its Autumn theatre programme, including an Olivier-nominated hit, an evening in conversation with Jay Rayner and a festive musical.
Running from August of this year through to February 2025, it promises an eclectic mix of performances and events for audiences of all tastes.
The programme kicks off with My Son’s a Queer (But What Can You Do?), the award-winning theatre show from social media sensation Rob Madge.
Running from 19 August to 25 August, the production is described as a "triumphant and hilarious celebration of identity and creativity spotlights the joy and chaos of raising a queer child and is testament to the power of unconditional familial love."
The Observer's revered restaurant critic Jay Rayner celebrates 25 years of his weekly reviews with the publication of his memoir-in-recipes Nights Out at Home, and will be discussing his award-winning tenure at the Sunday paper on 4 September.
Carol Vorderman will be discussing her shift from queen of daytime mathematics to political activism on 13 September with Carol Vorderman Live! Out of Order.
The last meeting of John Lennon and Paul McCartney will be dramatised in Two of Us, running from 26 to 28 February.
For what promises to be an ideal family outing the festive period will welcome the musical adaptation of yuletide classic Miracle on 34th Street from 6 December to 31 December.
