You’ll be welcomed with an Aperitivo of rosé Prosecco on your arrival, perfect for enjoying while you take your pick from the extensive choice of four delicious courses: Primi, Mezzo, Secondi and Dolce.
To whet your whistle, think juicy king prawns with a zing of chilli or Don Giovanni’s famed handmade meatballs and Sicilian pasta; for Mezzo, we’re struggling to decide between two ravioli: fresh Cornish crab or classic spinach and ricotta.
Secondi choices include sirloin or, for a little extra, fillet steak with fries and garlic butter, or pan-fried Anglesey seabass, oven-roasted cornfed British chicken supreme or the delicious meat-free dish of truffle and mushroom risotto. Meanwhile the Dolce dessert options showcase the best of sweet Italy with proper panna cotta or traditional tiramisu, salted caramel soufflé or a shortcrust tart laden with berries and other fresh fruit.
The meal is rounded off with a choice of showstopping Digestivo cocktails: Fernet Branca, Café Menta or Don Giovanni’s special limoncello, homemade by the head bartender. It’s the stuff of legend and perfect for helping your dinner go down as you enjoy the entertainment laid on throughout the evening from 7.30pm, sprinkling some extra sparkle on proceedings.
