LITTLE Angel Theatre will recreate the classic fairytale Goldilocks for children aged 2 – 5 years, when it comes to The Studio at the Royal Exchange Theatre from Wednesday 7 to Thursday 8 March this year, as part of a UK tour.

The story of the inquisitive Goldilocks who wanders into an empty house and finds much more than three bowls of porridge, will delight its young audience.

Using table-top puppetry and musical influences from around the world, this production brings the story to life, with lots of twists and surprises along the way.

Little Angel Theatre is dedicated to the celebration and development of puppetry and live animation in all its diverse forms. Thus, its touring department is expanding nationally and internationally, visiting theatrical and non-theatrical spaces such as community centres and nurseries to make puppetry accessible for a wider scope of audiences. To find out more visit their website www.littleangeltheatre.com.

Goldilocks is directed by Marleen Vermeulen. Her own company, Tam Tam Theatre, was set up in 1993.  It's dedicated to developing and presenting high quality multi-cultural theatre for young children and more recently for babies. Marleen previous directing credits for Little Angel Theatre include Handa's Surprise and Handa's Hen.
