Post-Posh Spice era, the Victoria Beckham we have come to know has emerged as a powerhouse in the world of fashion and has long earnt her stripes as a serious fashion designer. From the 'pob' to the Galaxy dress, she has inspired a myriad of styles.
On Wednesday 19 November the style queen graced Manchester (via train, first class of course... but a train nonetheless) to launch her new pre-SS15 collections – Victoria Beckham, VVB and Victoria Beckham Accessories - at Selfridges, Exchange Square.

Poised and composed despite an excitable crowd - complete with one foot placed in front, hand rested on thigh, permanent Posh pout and formiddable aloofness (of course) - Mrs VB made sure to stop by and sign photos before treating Selfridges staff and wealthy VIPs, including Vogue’s Fashion Features Director, Sarah Harris, to a private fashion show and to talk through the season’s direction and references (that's not for our ears, unfortunately).

On first inspection, the new collection is a beautifully elegant and consistent line. As expected she has stuck mostly to her clean, minimalist style but has broken free with bold embellishment on outerwears and shirts and playing feathered textures on dresses. The collection mixes both feminine and masculine structures and her signiture muted palette is punctuated with sensual red dresses, sequins and feathers for the coming party season.
