The home of handmade pizza, pasta and salads introduces specials for summer
NEVER ones to rest on their bay leaves, Vapiano, the home of fresh pizza, pasta and salad, have been busy behind the scenes rustling up some brand-new dishes, fresh for summer.
This season, theyhave even more special dishes than usual,created by the chefs inspired by traditional family recipes and authentic Italian ingredients. A big hit recently, the spreadable spicy N’Duja sausage from Calabria puts in an appearance in the pizza section, topping the daily handmade dough alongside its perfect match of tomato sauce plus Mascarpone cheese and tenderstem broccoli. Knife and fork or fingers – it’s your choice, but it’ll taste just as good either way.
Can’t choose between pasta and salad? No problem, as Vapiano’snew Sesame Beef and Mango Zoodle Salad ticks both boxes. Perfectly cooked fillet beef – it’s preparedin front of you, so exactly how you like it– is tossed with mango, toasted sesame seeds and coriander in a lime and chilli dressing, plus Zoodles. Also known as courgetti, Zoodles are an incredibly fresh and vitamin-packedlow-carbalternative to pastamade from fresh zucchini.This is health food, but not as you know it.
To round your meal off nicely, the Vapiano chefs have also been exploring plant-based puddings, and the vegan Coconut Panna Cotta crowned with strawberry sauce, a slice of lime and a fresh mint sprig is light yet luxurious, and just made for the warmer months.
