IT'S a problem as old as restaurants themselves; ever since Mr Boulanger opened the world's first 'restaurant' in Paris in 1765, only for Roze and Pontaille to open another soon after; where to go for dindins?

Guests will only be told where to head next on finishing each dish...

250 years later and Spinningfields might just have cracked it with Manchester's (perhaps the world's) first ever 'Rotating Menu'. On Sunday 20 September five of Spinningfields' finest: Manchester House, Ibérica, Australasia, Fazenda and The Alchemist will join forces to showcase the crème de la crème of the estate's eateries on a carefully-choreographed culinary journey.

Whilst the best of The Avenue’s global cuisine is guaranteed, the sequence is a surprise. Guests will find out their starting point on receiving their tickets in the post, but will only be told where to head next on finishing each dish; all of which have been designed uniquely for The Rotating Menu.

Michael Ingall, Allied London’s Chief Executive said:

“Inspiring, independent and quality food and drink are at the heart of Spinningfields. We thrive on providing those who live, work and visit the estate with the best experiences this city has to offer.

The Rotating Menu will show off the finest of this offering with creativity, innovation and adventure. Amongst the flourishing food and drink scene in the city, this experience will be wholly unique.”

The event takes place in Spinningfields on Sunday 20 September. Tickets at £80, including one drink with each meal, can be bought here
