FLANNELS celebrated its 35th anniversary last Thursday with an exclusive designer auction event, Flannels Creates, to raise money for The Christie NHS Foundation.
The evening showcased a unique collection of 40 mannequins created by designer brands including Matthew Williamson, Stone Island, Moncler and Roberto Cavalli. It was held at the Flannels' flagship store at Spinningfields.
At the event, guests enjoyed a champagne reception and canapés served by The Oast House, followed by live music from The Jessie Rose Trip and The Crookes, and a still fashion exhibition courtesy of Boss Model Management.
Fifteen of the mannequins were auctioned on the night with the sought-after pieces raising fantastic amounts for The Christie. The remaining are being sold exclusively through the online auction here.
There is still a chance to show your support and donate to the campaign by bidding on exclusive mannequins designed by Burberry, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, and Diane von Furstenberg amongst others. A mannequin handmade by the Paul Smith team includes a personal note from Paul Smith, and a signed book by Nigel Cabourn comes with the mannequin donning a limited edition Cape Cameraman Jacket –one of only 200 made.
Hurry! The online auction of the sought-after, collectable pieces will end across Sunday 9th & Monday 10th December and it is not to be missed.
