CICCHETTI'S celebrity chef Aldo Zilli has turned his culinary skills to the world of couture to tailor-make the world’s first pair of pasta stilettos.
Aldo’s edible ‘Stilettos Vogue’ in this season’s on-trend pink and classic black (pictured) are fashioned from fresh pasta stuffed with a decadent wild mushroom and truffle filling.

Diners at King Street West's Cicchetti will be able to try ‘Stiletto Vogue’ (£7.95) on a bespoke Milanese menu of fashionable specials available for one night only, Thursday 10 October – Vogue Fashion’s Night Out.
Cicchetti is the official café-bar for the night. To mark the occasion it will re-boot for the evening, with Aldo Zilli as host.
Commenting on his delicious design, Aldo said, “I’m certainly an admirer of high fashion heels. Show me a man who isn’t. So edible stilettos stuffed with the best of this season’s produce seemed a good choice to highlight our celebration of great food and fashion for 10th October.
“The special menu features authentic dishes from capital of fashion – Milan. All the team are thrilled that Cicchetti and House of Fraser will be an official partner for this great and glamorous event and we look forward to showcasing our designer dishes on the night.”
Cicchetti is situated on the ground floor of House of Fraser, which will have an array of exclusive offers and giveaways for shoppers to enjoy on 10th October.
Enjoy a cocktail on the ground floor where the Beauty and Accessories department will play host to a professional Fashion’s Night Out photo shoot, offering Manchester’s fashionistas the chance to pose like the stars.
And a team of national Dior make-up artists will be on hand to do those vital make-up touch-ups before your shoot, with participants receiving a complimentary Fashion’s Night Out photo as a keepsake.
