If you find yourself in charge of the cooking, eastZeast can help you out
Earlier this summer, we wrote about the brand new deli the family run Indian restaurant group opened on Waterloo Road, Cheetham Hill. They cleverly decided to make good use of the shop front of the building that houses their butchery and production kitchens.
This is where they prepare all the fresh ingredients for their restaurants around Greater Manchester. Here they do all the chopping, grating and peeling; they prepare the marinades, the spice blends and some of the individually prepared slow-cooked curry sauce bases for dishes to be finished off by the restaurant chefs before service.
What’s even better is they do it all, so you don’t have to. From marinated raw meat you can cook on your own grill or barbecue, to a range of fully finished curries, all are available for you to take home. So the next time it’s your turn to cook for family or friends, why not pop in to the eastZeast deli for some inspiration?
You’ll find a selection of freshly made curries in the deli counter such as kahari chicken masala, lamb sookha bhuna, tarka daal, saag gosht, biryani and even a proper made-from-scratch chicken tikka masala. These are all available to buy per portion, in 1kg (which feeds 5 people) or 3kg (to feed 15). This means that next time it’s your turn to do the cooking, you’ve got a few more options. It also works out much less expensive than ordering a take out with even the priciest curry working out at less than £4 per head.
Thinking of fitting in an autumnal barbecue before the nights start drawing in? Things just got more interesting. Instead of your regular burgers, sausages or factory produced supermarket kebabs, why not try some marinated lamb chops, chicken tikka skewers, drumsticks or even marinated paneer? All made in house in the eastZeast kitchens using freshly ground spices and herbs.
eastZeast take the stress out of home cooking by doing all the fiddly bits for you. The only thing they can’t promise to help you with is the washing up.
