THE Didsbury Lounge opened for business last week in, believe it or not, Didsbury. A bar aimed at a fairly broad demographic, the web site states their intention.
Didsbury Lounge is a new venue for everybody
Gordo went down there with his trusty camera person, Emma ‘laugh a minute’ Golpys to check it over and give a quick overview prior to us doing a full review.
“It’s a very comfortable lounge, that includes a great bar, with comfortable sofas and chairs knocking about”, comments the Fat One.
“Along with charming service, even on a pre-opening night, it has a sensible menu of platters to share, so it will satisfy grazers very nicely. Tables can’t be booked, so you just pitch up and pitch in. I like it, feels good, apart from the sodding DJ and very loud music. But that’s just me...”
Confidential was there after being given the nod by one of its spies, Charlotte Lomax-Moore, better known as @LottieMoore. As Charlotte wants to do some writing for Confidential, Gordo asked her for a few informative comments.
“Great, but needs an extra hand dryer in the loo,” said the aspiring food critic.
A bit more work needed there then, eh, Lottie?
