Over 500 world-class tattoo artists and traders will come together under one roof
This July, Depot Mayfield will host a massive tattoo convention, boasting over 500 world-class artists and traders.
For one weekend only (26-27 July), the multi-use cultural venue will be transformed into Manchester Tattoo Convention by UKTTA; a tattoo lover’s playground, showcasing some of the UK’s best artists and alternative artisan traders.
Visitors can watch on in awe as some of the nation’s greatest artists create mind-blowing tattoos in front of their eyes. From Blackwork to NeoTrad, whatever your preferred style is, you’ll be itching to book in for your next tattoo with one of these talented tattooists.
As well as top-notch tattoo artists, there will also be a selection of artisan traders showcasing their best alternative and tattoo-themed wares, from exquisite jewellery and bespoke clothing to taxidermy and quirky gifts.
Those looking to soak up the atmosphere can unwind in the chill zone where they’ll find a plethora of street food from award-winning vendors, spanning everything from sweet treats to savoury favourites, and a dedicated stage packed with live music performances and entertainment, including a games arena, will ensure all visitors stay entertained throughout.
As well as showing off their skills, artists will have the opportunity to win awards in a range of categories, from ‘best collaboration’ to ‘best avant garde’, where one lucky winner will walk away with a £2000 jackpot prize.
