The cult LA chicken brand is arriving in Manchester with free food up for grabs
Viral US hot chicken spot Dave’s Hot Chicken is arriving in Manchester for the first time ever, kicking things off with a secret pop-up on Tuesday 29 July allowing visitors to bag some free sliders.
Founded in an East Hollywood parking lot in 2017, Dave’s fiery Nashville style chicken, known for its bold flavour and seven different spice levels, has already amassed a cult following across LA, London and Birmingham and the hype is expected to continue with the new Manchester site.
The location of the super secret pop-up was revealed via a cheeky hotline promoted on posters spotted at Oasis’ final Manchester gig. Mancs can still call the number to unlock the location and grab free food.
Jim Attwood, Managing Director of Dave’s Hot Chicken UK, said: “Manchester’s been asking for Dave’s and we couldn’t just open quietly. Tricking the Oasis fans with a hotline number felt very us. This is about giving Mancunians a proper first taste of what Dave’s is all about. Big flavour, big heat, big energy. Come down and get involved - just don’t hang about. Once the sliders are gone, they’re gone.”
