Our pics from this year's Vogue Ball are here to slay, I mean stay
Up until Friday 18 February 2022, Madonna's 1990 smash-hit single was our favourite kind of Vogue. Then we went to the Contact Vogue Ball, and it wiped the floor with Madge and Condé Nast simultaneously.
An annual event hosted by House of Suarez, this year's Vogue Ball theme was "Night at the Poseum", and all creations were inspired by "treasures from around the globe that are currently in museums throughout the North West". Playing host to a whole realm of dancers, lip-syncers and generally jaw-dropping folk, the acts competed in categories such as fantasy, sex siren and choreography to take home a trophy and some serious bragging rights.
A winning combination of creativity and culture, the Vogue Ball was an integral part of Contact's Queer Contact programme which ran throughout the month of Feb. This particular event took place at Manchester Academy 1.
In between all of the cheering, dancing, and death dropping in 12-inch heels, we also managed to snap some pictures that were too good to stay hidden in our camera roll. You're welcome.
