A MINI pop-up golf course has opened in Piccadilly.
The 9 hole crazy golf course and themed bar has been created by the people behind Eurocultured and Fluid Bars.
It's called Chrizy Golf. Very droll.
The press release exclamation marks its way merrily with giddy injunctions such as: 'The newly launch Chrizy Golf in Manchester city centre is a brilliant alternative to getting drunk in the office! The unique pop up venue is perfect for Christmas nights out, team building, or simply a game of crazy golf and a hot cider!'
Bless.
Anyway it all seems like a fun idea. The 9 hole crazy golf course and themed bar has been created by the people behind Eurocultured and Fluid Bars. The inspiration for the idea came from a recent trip to Berlin by Richard Roberts from Eurolcultered.
Roberts said: “I was shown a video of a course designed by some friends for a trade show. It looked like a lot of fun and so we thought why not try and do something similar in Manchester for Christmas.”
Chrisy Golf is situated in Piccadilly Place, just along the footbridge from Piccadilly train station. It's open every Thursday and Friday until Christmas from 5pm to 10pm and Saturdays 3pm to 9pm. A round on the course is £5 or a 1 hour slot for a group of up to 4 people costs £7.50 per person.
There's a short film from the launch event here.
