If you like a quiet, low-key gathering for your Christmas do, this isn't for you. If you like dressing to impress for a glamorous night out with first-rate food and a dazzling dance show, come on in.

JD Parties are hosting two Christmas Party Spectaculars in the North West. One at Tatton Park near Manchester, and one at Knowsley Safari Park near Liverpool.
Confidential has been to one of these parties so we can speak from experience when we say it outshines any other Christmas parties around.
There's a real sense of excitement as you arrive at Tatton Park and are ushered into the marquee. Your coats are taken, carefully-planned outfits are revealed, and on cue, you're handed a glass of fizz to get the party started.
You step into an opulent venue packed with eager party-goers from lots of different workplaces, with a large stage in the centre.
Your tables are decorated with Xmas trinkets and treats, and your pre-ordered bottles of wine waiting to be quaffed. Then dinner is served – you'll have chosen your three-courses a few weeks earlier from the menu on the JD Parties website.
There's a great atmosphere as everyone relaxes into the night but the food is only half of it. As the plates are cleared away, the entertainment starts.
At Tatton this year, the show is called 'Dance Fever'. It features dancers who have performed on Sky One's Got To Dance and X Factor, and is a fusion of dance from around the world – hip-hop to street, salsa to tango.
At Knowsley Safari Park, the show is called 'Masquerade'. It's a 'voyage of discovery into a mysterious world of music, theatre, masks and spectacular costumes with outstanding vocal and dance performances'. You're encouraged to bring your own masks (traditional or contemporary, serious or funny) for this event.

After the entertainment on stage, it's your turn to take to the dance floor. DJs from Manchester's Capital FM, and Liverpool's Radio City will host the evening and play favourite tracks. There are also competitions (with great prizes), a charity fun casino, and party games.
It's a brilliant night out. JD Parties have been pulling off this kind of event for years so you can rest-assured that you won't be disappointed.
