Here’s what you can expect from the 10-day long celebration of the town’s vibrant hospitality scene
‘A Taste of Altrincham’, a new event launched for 2025, will celebrate the town’s vibrant and growing hospitality scene over 10 days.
Running from Friday 28 February until Sunday 9 March, ‘A Taste of Altrincham’ promises to showcase the town’s diverse dining scene, giving visitors a taste of the best independent cafes, bars, pubs and restaurants the town has to offer.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a spotlight on Altrincham without highlighting Altrincham’s very own indie foodhall and shopping venues, Altrincham Market and Market House, too.
Over the 10 days, guests can expect a series of themed activities, special offers, and unique collaborations designed to highlight the creativity and passion of Altrincham’s food and drink community.
“A Taste of Altrincham is all about celebrating the incredible diversity of the town’s food and drink offerings. Whether you’re a foodie looking to explore new flavours or someone simply wanting to enjoy a meal with family or friends, there’s something for everyone," says Mandy White, Altrincham BID Director.

VisitAltrincham.com, produced by Altrincham BID, will be continually updated with new events and offers from now until the 10-day event starts, ensuring there’s something fresh and exciting to look forward to every day.
The full event programme will be available for download or to pick-up from Altrincham Library and participating businesses from 17 February, giving locals and visitors plenty of time to make plans. Look out for ‘A Taste of Altrincham’ window stickers in participating businesses to pick up yours.
