TO celebrate the success of the Fairly Traded Market, Manchester Markets is offering you the chance to win a goody bag bursting with fairly traded products.
Simply enter the prize draw to be in with a chance of winning a fair trade jute bag containing a tea light holder, an African kissing giraffe wooden statue, an ethnic wall hanging, and a set of recycled paper coasters.
The Fairly Traded Market takes place regularly in Piccadilly Gardens on the second and fourth weekend of each month from 10am to 5.30pm (Friday and Saturday).
The market is a must for the shopper with a conscience, selling everything from groceries, bags and jewellery to scarves, wall-hangings and unusual wood carvings. All produce has been fairly traded, guaranteeing that small scale producers in developing countries receive a fair, stable price.
While you’re there, don’t forget to visit the Real Food Market and browse the stalls at the Piccadilly Craft and Gift Market.
