A seafood restaurant might not be the most obvious choice for a Christmas do but Livebait is as festive as the rest of them at this time of year.

52Ey_KIt's most famous for its fish, but the grand setting of a converted nineteenth century textile warehouse, and the central location on Albert Square, are a big part of its popularity.

Jonathan Schofield's recent Livebait review described the new re-invented Livebait as for a 'food destination for the North West' for 'those who like eating out to be an occasion – and not overpriced'.

The Christmas menu has traditional turkey and vegetarian options as well as seafood. It's £25 per head for three courses – have a look at it below.

The restaurant has a private dining room that seats up to 30 people. It's also a great venue for smaller, more intimate gatherings.
