YOUR eyes are important so look after them. That's easy to say but with the opening of the new Specsavers store at Manchester Fort, it's even easier to do.
The new store will be full of the latest hi-tech equipment to help keep your vision and your hearing, healthy
The new store will be opened by Coronation Street's William Roache at midday on Saturday 10 October. The new store will be full of the latest hi-tech equipment to help keep your vision and your hearing, healthy.
A Specsavers regular, William Roache was chosen to open the store and explained: 'I’ve suffered with hearing loss for years so wearing a hearing aid is an everyday thing for me – in fact, I’d be lost without it and I would struggle to communicate with my family and do my acting job.
I also wear my glasses every day, so they are just as important. All in all, I’m looking forward to opening the new Manchester Fort store and creating more awareness about both eye and hearing care in the process.
‘Over the years of being a customer I can safely say I’ve always had a really positive experience at Specsavers, whether that’s on the eyecare side or the hearing side.'
With a total re-fit cost of over £450k, the 2,382sqf store will employ fifteen staff from the local area and includes four eyesight testing rooms and two hearcare rooms, equipped with a sound-proof booth for hearing tests.
The new cutting-edge store will also feature tablet technology capable of taking customer measurements when dispensing glasses. A ‘magic mirror’ camera will also be available, which enables customers to try on multiple frame styles, ensuring they receive the best and most accurate service possible.
To celebrate the opening of the new Specsavers store, you could win an £150 voucher to spend at Specsavers on an eye test, frame styling and a pair of frames. With Specsavers' Buy One Get One Free offer, you could even choose two pairs of frames, depending on the requirements of your prescription.
