Tens of thousands attended - but were you one of the trendiest?
Fishnets, thong leotards, crops tops and teeny tiny playsuits - Parklife festival-fashionistas laughed in the face of mud and rain at yesterday’s event. As the heavens opened on this year’s event, the 70,000-strong crowd resisted and wore their very best party outfits.
For our 2017 style gallery, we waded through the swampy field to discover the festivalgoers who turned mud-splatters into funky accessories. There were psychedelic neon playsuits, sexy fishnets under ripped denim, entirely see-through dresses with strategically placed embroidery and a number of two-legged mermaids with long, flowing hair and seashell bras.
We’ll be back at Heaton Park On Sunday for more style-spotting before picking our favourite outfits of the entire weekend.
