Celebrate in style with this themed afternoon tea for two
RAINBOW cake, glitter, prosecco and some of the finest gourmet sandwiches in the city...it can only be the specially-themed Pride Afternoon Tea at The Lowry Hotel.
Available for one-month only, it's the first of a new series of themed teas at The Lowry Hotel. Long known as a go-to destination for the very British tradition of taking tea, the hotel has just extended its afternoon tea hours to keep up with demand.
The Pride Tea will feature all the classic components of an afternoon tea – dainty sandwiches, freshly baked scones and clotted creams, and a selection of delectable pastries and cakes. The loose leaf tea is supplied by Manchester Tea merchant, James Green of Tea from the Manor, which chooses only the top three grades from the finest whole leaf and flower teas. Guests can upgrade to include prosecco or a cocktail if they like.
The Pride Tea costs £29.50 per person and is available from 1-31 August at The River Restaurant at The Lowry Hotel.
If you're looking for an extra special way to celebrate Pride with friends and visitors, why not book a table?
