Bundobust opened its long-awaited brewery on Oxford Road in Manchester this year and our team can’t get enough of it. Bundo brews all its own beers at this shiny new brewery and ships them out to all its restaurants in its birthplace of Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool. There’s everything from citrusy, refreshing coriander pilsner to malty and creamy chai porter with fresh ginger.
With two branches to choose from at the top and bottom of Manchester city centre (the OG is in Piccadilly), Bundo is perfect for beers (or wine or cocktails or soft drinks) with a large group. The modern Gujarati Indian street food menu is cheap and cheerful but packed with all the flavour you’d expect from the land of spice. Whether it’s a big tub of chole saag or a handful of crispy okra fries that tickles your lime pickle, these veggie dishes will easily win over the most ardent anti-plant member of your office team or friend circle.
