We’ve had an incredible seven years in business and we were so happy to welcome loyal customers and Manchester businesses to celebrate our achievement with us.
Party goers picked up a playing card on arrival from a deck of cards which entitled them to complimentary drinks with the lucky number 7 card equalling a bottle of wine. Entertainment came courtesy of DJ Fritz, Bollywood dancers Desi Nach, a dancer with a snake plus a fabulous fire eater who was on hand to greet guests at the entrance with a spectacular performance. Co-founder and CEO Tayub Amjad said; “We’ve had an incredible seven years in business and we were so happy to welcome loyal customers and Manchester businesses to celebrate our achievement with us. Zouk has always been about innovative food in a cool, relaxed environment and so it was perfect to sit on the sun lit terrace enjoying food and special Zouk cocktails amongst friends. We’re now looking forward to a busy summer touring the UK and taking Zouk food to Greater Manchester and beyond. We’ll be at Glastonbury, Parklife, Secret Garden Party, Boom Town and the Southbank Alchemy Festival to name a few. I can’t wait to see what the next seven years will bring for Zouk.”
Co-founder and Creative Director Mudassar Amjad said; “I created a special menu for the party which celebrated seven regions of India and Pakistan and included my personal favourite our famous Lamb Nihari. Over the seven years we’ve been in Manchester we’ve really defined our style and signature dishes include our famous Indian Sajji Roasts which offer a whole leg of lamb or whole roast chicken marinated in spices and served with spicy roast potatoes and delicious gravy. We started the night in true Indian style with a chaat our much loved Samosa Chaat is already a favourite with customers and was the perfect treat to kick off the evening. We had an amazing time with the Zouk community at our party and were overwhelmed with the fantastic turnout. We’d like to give our heartfelt thanks to all who joined us for the celebrations and thank you to all our customers for their amazing support over these 7 years.’
