Zaap Thai set to arrive in Manchester

The authentic and affordable Thai street food restaurant is due to open this summer

Thai street food spot, Zaap Thai, has announced that it will be bringing its signature blend of authentic Thai street food and immersive dining to Manchester.

The independent brand, which already has sites in Leeds and York, will be opening a new restaurant on Brazennose Street in Lincoln Square. Set to be one of Zaap’s biggest venues to date, Zaap Manchester will have up to 160 covers and create around 40 new hospitality jobs in the city centre.

Complete with an open kitchen, custom-made tuk tuk seating booths and bespoke street-style graffiti, the restaurant is designed to immerse guests in traditional Thai food culture with menu highlights including spicy Som Tum salad, Pad Ga Prao and crispy pork belly. There’s also an extensive list of drinks to choose from, including Thai-inspired cocktails and mocktails, Thai lagers, fresh smoothies and Zaap’s signature bubble tea selection.
