90s Baby pulls together all the most cringeworthy pop artists in one line up

You're either going to love it or you're going to love to hate it, or you're just going to hate it.

Nostalgia events crew 90s Baby has pulled off an impressively cringe lineup at the AO Arena. It will provide you with all the essential 90s pop hits that had you dancing around your bedroom hairbrush in hand - or had your parents threatening to lob your B*Witched CD out the car window in exasperation (true story about one Man Con writer).

No no, no no no no, no no no no, no no there's no limit to the 90s throwback joy

The hellscape we're currently living through makes the 90s look like a tie-dye utopia tbh. So we've just spent the morning blasting some retro pop and wishing we had a time machine. If you're on the same page, you'll be thrilled that 90s Baby Pop can provide that time machine of sorts for one night only on 29 October 2022.

If it's Chico Time all the time at your gaff, or you're all about the double denim and your motto in life is C'est La Vie, you're gonna be all over this event. 90s Baby Pop brings together a staggering amount of 90s one-hit wonders in one place for one big, unabashed party.

Members of big-name groups like Atomic Kitten, M People and the peerless S Club 7 will appear alongside mahoosive hitmakers that more than outstayed their welcome at No.1 in the pop charts back when they were a thing. Think Aqua of high pitched Barbie Girl fame, Whigfield of awkward group choreography hit Saturday Night and of course, The Cheeky Girls with their stone-cold classic, er, (Cheeky Song) Touch My Bum.

Then there are pop stars and groups whose names are far less memorable than the hits that made them rich. Los Del Rio? Lou Bega? Gala? Corona? Nope? How about Hey Macarena!Mambo No.5, Freed From Desire, Rhythm of the Night

You're welcome to spend the rest of the day with those ear worms.

The lineup doesn't leave out the bedroom poster boy bands either, you'll find Damage, 911 and even Five gracing the arena stage. Meanwhile, ensuring Simon Cowell's pockets continue to inexplicably not weigh down his waistline, Liberty X and Gareth Gates are on the bill.

No no, no no no no, no no no no, no no there's no limit to the 90s throwback joy. Well, there sort of is, there are precisely 23 bands on the lineup and they also include 2 Unlimited, Honeyz, Big Brovas, Las Ketchup and The 411.

It sounds like the biggest cheesefest ever but we like a bit of cheese at Man Con and any excuse to laugh like a hyena as you dance to the songs that remind you of better days is one to celebrate, innit?

Tickets for 90s Baby Pop are on sale now. If you prefer your 90s hits a bit more Ibiza-centric, there's also a 90s Baby event on at Albert Hall this weekend with limited tickets left.
