Magician Impossible star will perform two ‘highly personal’ shows at The Lowry in February
World-renowned magician Dynamo has revealed plans to bring his sold-out show, Times Are Gone For Honest Men, to an intimate hotel space in Manchester.
The Bradford-born performer - who famously walked across water on the Thames and once levitated above The Shard - will perform two nights at the five-star Lowry hotel on the 22nd and 23rd of February, as he takes his highly-acclaimed and 'highly personal' Abandoned Room show on the road.
It’s in spaces like this where we can really create a sense of disbelief and astonishment
The only magician to ever sell out the O2 Arena, Dynamo has scaled his latest performance right back, performing to crowds of just 100 in the basement of London's Mandrake Hotel.
Designed to 'offer the best and most immersive experience in magic', Times Are Gone For Honest Men sees Dynamo turn creative producer as well as performer, combining storytelling and illusions with intimate crowd interaction.
Speaking about the show, Dynamo said: “It’s been amazing taking my magic into an intimate space, where people feel relaxed because their every need is taken care of, and because they can see every corner of the room: it’s in spaces like this where we can really create a sense of disbelief and astonishment that hasn’t been felt before.
"The Abandoned Room gives me the opportunity to push the boundaries of the craft. I’m very excited to be taken this new and exciting concept our on the road.”
