Massive food and drink party with top chefs, bands, DJs and more
WE hear about a lot of charity fundraising events here at Confidential. Often they're sit-down dinners – nice food, nice people, but all a bit formal and let's face it, a bit bloody boring.
Not this one. This one is a proper party – with some amazing bands, performers and top DJs.
And rather than your standard three courses and half carafe of wine, this is a dip-in, fill-your-boots tour of some of the most exciting food and drink in the North West.
It's happening in Upper Campfield Market Hall, Deansgate on Thursday 6 September. The region's top chefs and restaurateurs will literally be setting out their stalls – cooking up amazing street food dishes as you watch.
Then there'll be the North's most interesting brewers, distillers and bars, tempting you in with all manner of specially-selected drinks.
Guests can have seven dishes, five drinks, and unlimited snacks, choosing whatever catches their eye from all the different stalls, while mingling about and taking in the brilliant live entertainment.
Then there'll be an auction with impossible-to-buy prizes – this is going to be a highlight.
And the best bit is, it's all for an excellent cause. Action Against Hunger has led the fight against global hunger for 40 years, and they need your support now as much as ever.
The music line-up, chefs and stalls will all be announced over the next few weeks (there's some big names in there).
Tickets will be released on 19 July – including a small number available at early bird prices.
