Preston's halal steakhouse is giving away burgers and shakes for four

This new halal restaurant serves American diner-style dishes, alongside flame-grilled steaks and classic British comfort food. The portions are generous. The cooking is spot on. And the quality of the prime cuts of meat and fish shine through.
One of the highlights on our recent visit was their Mr MUMU burger – a huge, juicy lean beef pattie served on a brioche bun with ripe beef tomato, butter lettuce, tangy cheddar cheese and a trio of onion rings. It was a class act, and could earn the title of best burger in town.
They also do a gorgeous home-made falafel burger, a chicken and avocado burger, and a haddock burger with tartare sauce. They're all served with fries and are all big enough to satisfy even the heartiest of appetites.
MUMU is an alcohol-free restaurant, which means they put extra effort into their soft drinks. The milkshakes are heavenly – made with real ice cream and served American-style in a tall steel cup, they're a melt-in-the-mouth delight. Flavours include salted caramel, vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and banana.
