Luxury gifts galore, and fine dining in the Second Floor Bar and Brasserie
With three floors of gift inspiration, and an award-winning Bar and Brasserie to boot, there are few better places to spend Valentine’s Day than Harvey Nichols.
Clothes, beauty, perfumery, accessories, jewellery…this place has it all.
After something for the lady in your life? From Sophia Webster’s eye-catching footwear to Free People’s boho garments and Alice + Olivia’s slogan tees, you’ll find something for every budget.
As for the men, think Paul Smith’s legendary ties, SCRUBD charcoal & black pepper soaps or - for something really quirky - Rococo’s salted milk chocolate cigar.
Of course, a Harvey Nichols gift guide wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the Foodmarket. From luxurious hampers to gin-making kits and ‘brain jam,’ you’ll find it packaged to perfection. A warning though: one shelf scan will leave you craving twenty things. Everyone needs some gold dust drinking chocolate right? And some Persian fairy floss... Even the chrome kitchenware looks good enough to eat in this place.
Talking of which, the Second Floor Bar and Brasserie is tantalising taste buds on Wednesday 14 February with its special Valentine’s menu - available from midday.
Choose three courses for two at £100, including a glass each of Moët Rosé Champagne, or add £30 and upgrade to a bottle. At just £65 each, you may as well...
Dishes include tender lamb rump with black garlic purée and roasted Jerusalem artichoke, and dessert choices of Yorkshire curd tart and baked dark chocolate ganache. What’s more, you’ll receive a complimentary box of Artisan du Chocolat milk chocolate salted caramels to take home.
