What to order

Meat Tiffin - £7.95

We like to think of this fabulous dish as a deconstructed kebab – and it’s a dazzler in every sense. Creamy chicken tikka is paired with tender cuts of lamb, a summer salad, hummus and half a Tandoor-cooked naan, served crisp and slightly blackened around the edges. Irresistible. Plus, there’s a different tiffin dish on offer every lunchtime, so why not make it a habit?

Vegetarian Tiffin - £7.95

Zouk’s vegetarian tiffin shows off the chef’s skills in the kitchen. Options could grilled paneer tikka, char-grilled bell peppers and red onion, bindi and tarka daal (spinach and lentil) or spinach and potato curry. The menu changes daily but Zouk’s tiffin is typically served with summer leaves and a moreish half naan on the side. Wrap the selection up any way you like - or just tuck in. Either way, it won’t last long.

Zouk Ocean Platter - £14.95

Zouk’s chefs combine tandoor and open flame cooking techniques to lend a delicious char-grilled flavour to fresh fish and seafood. While the ingredients are a closely guarded secret, Zouk’s secret marinade lifts the Ocean Platter of salmon fillet, half-shelled prawns and tender scallops into the next dimension. We guarantee you’ll be back if only for this dish.

Watermelon mocktail

Nothing says summer like fresh watermelon – and we think that this crushed watermelon mocktail could be an improvement on the original. Lime lends a grown up aspect to this fruity treat and there are plenty more options to choose from, perfect for sharing with that special someone.

As Zouk’s expanded terrace has just re-opened, our guide highlights the restaurant’s most summery dishes. However, there’s more to enjoy on the main menu including everything from chicken liver tikka and karahi dishes to aromatic lamb nihari. The restaurant is also home to a large private dining area and an in-house cooking school – so why not book a table today?
