The massive Heaton Park festival is back in its rightful summer slot for 2022
Parklife has announced its first summer lineup since 2019 with a weekend bursting with UK and US talent descending on Manchester on 11 and 12 June this year.
Massive names from the world of hip-hop will headline the event with rapper 50 Cent taking the Saturday Parklife Stage slot and Grammy award-winning Tyler, the Creator leading the event on Sunday.
Buses full of neon-clad tipsy teenagers will also make their way to the north Manchester park to see US rapper Megan Thee Stallion, electronic duo Chase & Status and British musician Jamie XX take to the stage.
With eight stages in total, other big-hitters due to perform include Loyle Carner, Jessie Ware, Lewis Capaldi, Arlo Parks and Tom Misch.
Last year the event was moved to September to work around strict COVID restrictions, but this year it's back in its regular time slot and ready to take over the city once more.
Fans of Bradford based Bad Boy Chiller Crew and Lancashire lad, DJ Danny Howard will be able to catch their favourite acts on Saturday 11 June. While Bicep, The Blessed Madonna and Annie Mac will appear on The Valley stage on Sunday 12 June.
Those who have signed up for the special presale will be able to bag tickets from Wednesday 26 January at 10am, while general tickets will be released at 10am on Thursday 27 January.
VIP weekend tickets go on sale for £169.50 with perks including Refuel and Recharge where festival-goers can chill out with a cocktail, an Around the World buffet, “luxury loos” (hmm, we’ll see about that), VIP lockers and free charging points.
General weekend admission starts at £129.50 and there are payment plan options starting at £12.50 a month.
Day tickets start at £79.50.
With touts looking to make money from desperate fans by flogging fake tickets, Parklife stresses that customers only buy from official vendors like Ticketmaster, Skiddle and See Tickets.
