TWO new wine bars are opening at Kings Court, Altrincham in July.  The south facing courtyard setting provides a quiet haven off Railway Street the main thorough fare through the town centre.

We are looking to create a chilled bar experience that’s fun and offers something that no-one else does locally

The first to open in Unit 7 will be under the previously successful pseudonym of ‘Jaspers’.  The self-contained premises provide 1153 sq ft on ground and first floors and have been taken by business partners M Kevil and A Robinson.

High Society Wine Bar follows in Unit 4, previously an Indian restaurant, providing 614 sq ft on the ground floor.

Nick Rogers of High Society Wine Bar Ltd said; “Business partner Simon Sheridan and I thought the courtyard was an ideal location, as it was central yet private from the main road.  The cheap car park and good transportation links for the area were also plus points.  We are looking to create a chilled bar experience that’s fun and offers something that no-one else does locally, in particular an excellent range of well presented cocktails.  The interior of the bar will feature exposed brick and warm dark wood stained walls with wingback leather armchairs and tables forged from old rum barrels.  There will even be a barrel ‘swing’ in the smoking area."

Daniel Lee of Regional Property Solutions who let the accommodation said; “These lettings reflect the increasing take up of units for leisure use in Altrincham and the general upturn of interest in the town with the go ahead for the development of the new hospital on Railway Street, which will significantly improve the outlook of this gateway into the town centre.

Regional Property Solutions let the units on behalf of Duff & Phelps the administrators of Property North West Ltd.
