YOUR calendar might already be bursting with Christmas invitations but this is one you need to clear space for. It's the Home Alone Xmas Party from #TwitFaced, this Friday 12 December at Lock 91.
Expect the usual surprises, games and hotly contested awards such as ‘Best Dressed’ and ‘Most TwitFaced’.
Described as the ‘social networking to social event', Twitfaced is a chance to let your hair down with fellow Manchester folk who enjoy chatting face-to-face as well as on Twitter.
There are drinks giveaways from Blind Pig Cider and Freddies Fruit Lager, awards, music, and fun and games. It's an evening of merriment and madness, and everyone who likes a tweet or two is invited.
Tickets are £11 each (plus a small fee) and are limited in number. Register here. The price includes a welcome shot and drinks voucher, plenty of entertainment and £1 goes to local charity, Forever Manchester.
First up, there'll be musical delights from Across The Tracks' Martin Glynn and Slammin Boy’s Mark Hogg. They're both firm TwitFaced favourites and know how to get a party going.
Mr Mentalist and mindreader Chris Rawlins also makes a return appearance. And making his TwitFaced debut is magician Sam Fitton, ready to bamboozle the crowd with his own brand of illusion and sorcery.
Official entertainment partner Make Happen are kindly hosting a live music lounge in the now legendary Bonkers Basement (prepare yourself, things could get messy).
Simon Calderbank from Big Knows will be your festive host with the most and might even sport a red suit and white beard for the occasion.
And you can expect the usual surprises, games and hotly contested awards such as ‘Best Dressed’ and ‘Most TwitFaced’.
Organisers Studio North would like to extend a big thank you to the kind sponsors MRJ Recruitment, theEword, Gogenix, Evolution Costs, UpSearch and Manchester Confidential.
#TwitFaced, 6.30pm-2am, Friday 12 December at Lock 91, 9 Century Street (end of Deansgate Locks).
