#TWITFACED is back for its seventh event on Friday 20 September – this time at Manchester235 Casino's glam new bar, Vega Lounge.

The TwitFaced team have organised a free welcome shot for every guest who arrives before 8pm

Described as a 'very informal networking event', TwitFaced is a chance to let your hair down with likeminded Manchester folk who enjoy chatting face-to-face as well as on Twitter. There's drinks giveaways and offers, music, and fun and games. It's an evening of merriment and madness, and everyone who likes a tweet or two is invited.

Tickets are FREE but limited in number. Register here.

The TwitFaced team have organised a free welcome shot for every guest who arrives before 8pm and there will also be an early evening happy hour from 6pm to 7pm with 20 per cent off all drinks.

Musical delights will come from Across The Tracks' Martin Glynn. Resident over the years at Prague Five, Holy City Zoo, Rossetti, Panacea and Sub Space, he plays an eclectic mix of dance floor favourites, old and new. As part of the Across the Tracks collective, Martin’s festival appearances include Latitude, Deer Shed, Leeds and Bestival.

Slammin Boy’s Mark Hogg, fresh from celebrating 20 years DJ’ing to some of the world’s finest dancefloors (Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Home, El Divino), will also be hitting the decks to spin his usual upbeat dance grooves late into the night. Mark is a firm TwitFaced favourite and knows how to get a party going.

Aside from the casino games, there will be two star turns to regale the crowds. Back by popular demand is magician James Anthony who will bamboozle you with his own brand of illusions and sorcery.

Earlier in the evening, locally renowned LongFella Poet Tony Walsh will inject some much-needed culture into proceedings with a live rendition of his classic ‘This Is The Place’ poem in support of local charity Forever Manchester. It’s a powerful performance that no proud Mancunian should miss.

Making another comeback is the infamous Wheel Of Booze providing lucky winners with a free cocktail.

Finally, the TwitFaced judges will be keeping an eye out for new Hall of Fame contenders and the snappiest dressers on the night will go head to head for the ‘Best Dressed’ trophy. But it’s all about the big one. Have you got what it takes to become the TwitFaced Champion, the most hotly contested award?

The organisers would like to say thank you to the official sponsors, Manchester Confidential (us), Talk of Manchester, Melbourne Hosting, Studio North and UpSearch who make the night possible. And of course, Manchester235 which is kindly allowing them to use the Vega Lounge exclusively for TwitFaced punters.

#TwitFaced starts from 6pm on Friday 20 September at Manchester235 Casino and will last till 2am, possibly later.
