ALLIED London have announced the first two companies to take work space at Tower 12, Avenue North, Spinningfields - there's a CGI of the proposed reception above.

They are Datalex, a global provider of software to the travel industry and a UK planning consultancy Barton Willmore.

Michael Ingall, chief executive, Allied London Properties Limited said:  “Tower 12 is set to become another significant landmark on the Spinngingfields estate and securing our first two commercial occupiers shows the new product is already creating a market for itself well before completion.  The building is going to be a very special place to work and do business by the summer.

“Tower 12 is more than just work space.  It is complemented by Avenue North beneath it and we have no fewer than five restaurants under offer, all to be operated by independents with fantastic track records.  It goes to show that if the product is carefully considered and designed, it can be successful and attract different commercial operators who see and share our vision.”

Barton Willmore is the largest planning consultancy in the UK and opened its first Manchester office last year.  The company is enjoying rapid expansion and is moving into Tower 12 as it increases its team.

Datalex is one of the world’s leading providers of software to major airlines and travel agencies including Air China, Aer Lingus, STA Travel, Trailfinders, United Airlines and The Co-operative Travel.  Datalex was attracted to Tower 12 because it wants to provide an inspirational and forward thinking working environment for its staff.

Formerly known as Manchester House, Tower 12 comprises 75,000 sq ft of floor space which includes 40,000 sq ft of office space over ten floors, all sitting above the ten new retail and leisure units which make up Avenue North.
