THE SPECIALS | O2 Apollo | Tuesday 11 November

A pioneering band of the ska scene. Despite a series of line-up changes since their formation in 1977 the Special's legacy is still going strong. The group will be joined by renowned punk duo Sleaford Mods in what should be a bouncing night at the Apollo.

THE GASLIGHT ANTHEM | O2 Apollo | Monday 17 & Tuesday 18 November

Back with a 'new sound' (always risky business), this once American punk(ish) band have mostly slowed down and veered towards safety rock. Still, they're capable of thrashing out a number or two when it comes down to the nitty gritty.

LINKIN PARK | Phones 4U Arena | Saturday 22 November

Nu metal mammoths Linkin Park were one of few bands that came out heads above water after the alt rock surge of the new millenium. They returned this summer with a new record, The Hunting Party, and a barnstorming set at this year's Download Festival in Leicestershire. Still one of the most bankable live acts around.

SLASH FT. MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS | Phones 4U Arena | Friday 28 November

One of the most recognisable figures in rock history thanks to a top hat and wild hair, British-born Slash is a pretty nifty riffmaster too. New album, World On Fire, is the second with his new band, and at nearly 50-years-old the former Guns'n'Roses hellraiser and Velvet Revolver shows no signs of slowing down.
