Celebrated choreographer Hofesh Shechter and his talented dancers are to present 'a loud, smoky collision of music and dance' as they mark the opening of new theatre, HOME. The evening gives audiences the first look at Shechter’s new short work, the second part of a trilogy that features dancers from his world-class ensemble. Known as tHE bAD, this piece for five dancers will be accompanied by a dark and funky score featuring dubstep grooves alongside his trademark percussive electronics.

The pop-up heads to Spinningfields for three days only from the 1 May - 3 May 2015. Guests can re-live 1950s beauty parlor indulgence and enjoy hours of fun, glamour and pampering with a pretty menu of cocktails and cupcakes. The beauty parlour will will offer make uppers, brow waxes and tints from Benefit’s make-up and brow experts before the 'Bene-Bar' bar opens for the evening.

It's been hailed as one of the most anticipated fight in boxing history - it's been a good seven year wait. Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will face off in Las Vegas on Saturday 2 May. The unbeaten American Mayweather claims this is the biggest fight in history and ‘the world will stop’ when he steps into the ring with Pacquiao at the iconic MGM Grand Garden Arena. Given Las Vegas is eight hours behind the United Kingdom it will show 4am on Sunday 3 May. For £30 Manchester 235 are offering entry to their private suite to watch the fight, two 'enhanced odd chips', three bottles of beer and a bacon sandwich. Time of showing to be confirmed.

From midday until late, Spinfest at The Oast House will guarantee fun times with friends and family (face painters and balloon artists will be on hand to entertain the children). The Oast House will also be serving their fantastic meats cooked on the rotisserie and fireing up their external barbeque.
