Tasty events at Seven Bro7hers Beerhouse

GONE are the days when it was easy to find yourself at a loose end in Ancoats; now the neighbourhood has places to go and things to do around the clock. Frontrunner in the events stakes is Seven Bro7hers Beerhouse, sitting on Blossom Street and looking out over Cutting Room Square.

Serving up some fine beverages from its own brewery, indeed the biggest premier craft ale brewery in Salford Quays, the North Manchester boozer is also serving up some great dates for your diary, and the programme for March is shaping up nicely.

Regulars include Quiz Night, Jam Night and Book Club, while Paint Manchester has been proving to be a popular hands-on experience. Pop-ups and one-offs are also in the offing, so keep your eyes peeled for details here and on the Beerhouse Facebook page – this month, expect St Patrick’s Day shenanigans on Sunday 17 March and a Unique Clothing do on Saturday 30 March.

Live music at Seven Bro7hers Beerhouse

Hosted by Charlie, the Quiz Night went down a storm last time round and is back at the Beerhouse on 12 March – perfect for showing off your knowledge, from general to useless, and with a definite lean towards music. Talking of which, musician Cassidy Stone is at the helm for Jam Night #9 on 13 March. The evening kicks off at 7pm with a half-hour set from the house band, then it’s three hours of fun and everyone is welcome – just turn up and play. Instruments are even provided and there’s a free pint for every performer.

Ancoats Book Club takes place every third Wednesday and the theme for 20 March is Feminists Don’t Wear Pink, taking Scarlett Curtis’s edited tome as a starting point. The following Wednesday, Paint Manchester is back – grab a pint and some paint and get cracking on recreating Toubie Jack’s Skyline.
