HOSTING an array of family-friendly events and attractions, including historical exhibitions, dance workshops, theatre shows, art galleries, boat tours and discount shopping, The Quays is, it would seem, the place to be when it comes to entertaining both kids and adults alike this May half-term.
Experience the award-winning IWM North, part of Imperial War Museums, with its range of compelling exhibitions, tours and family activities. This half-term visitors can enjoy IWM North’s first ever animated Big Picture Show, Horrible Histories: Rotten Rationing. Showcasing new illustrations, by Martin Brown and based on the world’s bestselling children’s history book series, Horrible Histories. The show is narrated by Rattus Rattus, the famous Horrible Histories rat character, and provides a fully immersive 360-degree experience, transporting visitors into a wartime market. (Daily shows from May 18).
