Situated on Newgate Street, the restaurant features beautifully designed interiors and an expansive outdoor terrace

The Ivy Collection has today (Tuesday 28 April) opened the doors to its brand new Chester restaurant, bringing with it over 100 years of dining expertise.

Located on Newgate Street in the heart of the city, The Ivy Chester Brasserie features expertly designed interiors alongside an expansive outdoor terrace for relaxed, alfresco dining.

Design elements in the restaurant pay tribute to the city’s unique heritage and character, including a curated selection of local artwork showcased throughout.

Ideal for all-day dining, guests can choose from a range of menus, including breakfast and brunch, afternoon tea and cream tea, à la carte dining, and a traditional Sunday roast.

Seasonal set menus will also be available at different points throughout the year, including the Heritage Menu which offers two courses for £20.95, as well as its Taste of Spring menu, offering three courses for £32.95.

The official opening follows an exclusive launch event last week, attended by the Lord Mayor of Chester, Councillor Sherin Akhtar, and local celebrities including former footballer Ian Rush MBE, Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle MBE, Real Housewives of Cheshire stars Lystra Adams, Royston Blythe and Nick Malenko, and Love Island’s Lucy Quinn.

Speaking on the opening, Kate Cooper, Restaurant Operating Officer for the North, said: “Opening The Ivy in Chester is a hugely exciting milestone for us, and we’re delighted to officially welcome guests through our doors. We’ve created a space that feels elegant yet relaxed – somewhere people can enjoy great food, great company and a sense of occasion at any time of day. It’s been wonderful to see such a positive response already, and we’re looking forward to becoming part of Chester’s dining landscape for years to come.”
