LIVERPOOL ONE is hosting the UK's largest ever urban ice experience this winter, with features including a bar made entirely of ice, an exhilarating 30m ice slide, an Alpine ice rink, and a stunning ice sculpture gallery leading to Santa’s grotto.

#IceFestival will be housed on Chavasse Park in Liverpool ONE. It's the work of the team behind the world-renowned London Ice Sculpting Festival.

We've rounded up the festival's Arctic attractions below – plus look out for icy displays and events on weekends in November and December, including free live ice carving.

Pop Up Ice Bar

The cool and contemporary pop up Ice Bar features a glittering room and furniture made entirely of crystal clear sculpture ice – including the bar, tables and chairs. Entrance includes a drink specially selected to keep you warm.

Ice Rink and Alpine Café Bar

With a dramatic city centre setting and seasonal skating, the open air ice rink will be a glamorous destination for winter fun. Open to over-fives, it's a magnificent way to celebrate the cold season.

Visitors after something more relaxing can enjoy a hot chocolate or mulled wine in the Alpine café bar and terrace alongside the ice rink.

Ice Slide

The UK’s largest ever Ice Slide includes two super speedy 30m runs, 6m above the park. Experience the buzz of skimming along at an exhilarating pace, while taking in the whole view of the mesmerising #IceFestival. It's open to adults and children (Must be over 1.2m high).

Youngsters can journey through the secret door that leads to the Ice Gallery and Santa’s Grotto. Enthralling ice sculptures of polar animals and characters will thrill children and grown-ups alike.

Moving on through the magical forest, visitors will enter Santa’s Throne Room where children will be greeted by Santa and one of his elves, who will be ready with a special gift.
