MANCHESTER Beer Week on Friday 10 June – Sunday 19 June is the first city-wide beer festival, bringing together thousands of drinkers through a series of events celebrating brewing and pub culture.
There'll be a huge variety of events at different pubs, bars, restaurants and breweries but The Chop Houses seem to have really made their mark on the festival – they're an unmissable part of Manchester Beer Week.
Chefs from The Albert Square Chop House, Sam;s Chop House and Mr Thomas's Chop House have all competed to created their best beer-related dishes. The winners as judged by Confidential's Gordo and the Chop Houses boss Roger Ward, will all feature on the express menu for the duration of the festival.
Sam's Chop House will also be hosting a pub quiz based on all things beer with Fiona, their resident quizmaster. If you know your porter from your pils, you'd best head along on Tuesday 14 June. The quiz starts at 6.30pm and the prizes are beer-related ones.
