TGI Friday's knows how to do an end-of-week knees-up. At their Cocktail Shakeup event a few weeks ago, they created four bars, gave everyone two free drinks, and put on a night of live entertainment including bands, cocktail-shaking and more.
Confidential went along to see what was happening. There was a great atmosphere, possibly created by the energy and general good vibes emitting from the TGI Friday bartenders.
We took in all four bars, including the Mixology Lab where the cocktails seemed more science experiment than after-work tipple. Tasted good though. Go and try them at TGI's Royal Exchange if you want to see some spectacular mixology skills.
Then it was over to the LA Beach Bar and the Mix Masters bar. By the time we hit the NYC Celebration Bar for a Manhattan, we were very giddy indeed.
Two questions. Are TGI Friday's doing another? And if so, can we go?
