It’s our very own MasterChef special on 23 October

MASTERCHEF semi-finalist Adam Leavy is in charge of a very special six-course Supper Club we’ve created for one night only in conjunction with Alvarium.

The Northern Quarter cafe-bar recently welcomed Adam onto the team as head chef and he’s been busy since starting creating some fine plant-based dishes using only the best seasonal ingredients to let the fresh fruit and veg really shine. We thought it might be nice to give Confidentials readers the chance to try out a bit of a taster menu to get a feel for the new food on offer at Alvarium – so we’ve joined forces to hold a Supper Club on Wednesday 23 October.

Adam’s plant-based creations are renowned and hehaspersonally designed the six courses especially for the evening and will be preparing and cooking the food served up on the night. An appetiser of charred watermelon and zingy cucumber will be followed by Adam’s take on French onion soup. Savoury plates of shiitake ‘bacon’ with chilli jam and confit aubergine with Bombay potatoes further showcase some of Adam’s creative magic. Sweet treats to finish, meanwhile, include chocolate fudge, spicy chocolate truffles with hazelnut shortbread and espresso mousse.

 Tickets are a tasty £30 for the six courses and as places for the event (which gets underway at 7.30pm) are limited, be sure to put your name down straight away.
