Now their app has got even more handy – they've just upgraded it to accept card payments, with no extra card charges. It lets you save your card (credit or debit) and pay with a few pushes of a button.

As well as the cash-free payment process, the free app keeps you up-to-date on the progress of your booking, and it lets you track your taxi in real time. It means you don't have to keep ringing up to find out where it is, or hang around outside worried that you'll miss it.

And because Street Cars has the largest fleet of private hire vehicles in Manchester city centre, they're well equipped to get you a cab during the peak times. They have 450 vehicles in total – that's more than double their nearest competitor.

You can pay by cash, debit card or credit card in all their vehicles (handy when you accidentally spent your fare home on that last cocktail) and all their drivers are fully trained and uniformed. All Street Cars vehicles are GPS tracked for extra peace of mind.
