These free, informal, guided tastings will showcase the best of Sicily's wine, alongside tasters of Sicilian street food. They'll be led by owner of The Market Restaurant, Gary Newborough.
In the past 20 years, Siciliy has transformed itself from bulk wine producer to Italy's most reliable source of inexpensive yet characterful wines. Investment in the cellars and increasing attention to grape quality and selection is delivering truly exciting wines.
It's why stars such as Gerard Depardieu and Mick Hucknall have bought wine properties there.
There will be four guided tastings at The Market Restaurant: 6pm and 8pm on Wednesday 30 January, and 6pm and 8pm on Thursday 31 January. A maximum of 10 Heroes and their plus-ones can attend each tasting.
And all Heroes who attend will receive a voucher for 50% off food at The Market Restaurant.
